rom&BAAWLA brings together two complementary approaches to bass music. rom’s heavy low end and experimental rhythms meet BAAWLA’s UK garage, UK bass and baile funk influences.
About the release
The first single from rom&BAAWLA’s EP All The People, released via foreign body and Japanese label SPRAYBOX. It carries the fast, rough-edged breakbeats and bass the duo heard on a trip across Europe with the foreign body team in June 2026. The title comes from a simple idea: press a button and something starts immediately. The focus is on rhythm and bass that get the body moving before any explanation is needed.
